The object is not detectable in observations (Ks band) between 2010 and 2013, then in 2014, the object appears badly saturated and after 325 days since the last observation, the object is marginally detected in the Ks band.
This unclassified variable source from VVV survey had a increase of at least 7 magnitudes in the Ks band, the colors of the source one year after explotion suggest that the level of extinction is not particularly high compared to other sources nearby.
